Activated Resins

Actigel ALD
Actigel ALD is a cross-linked agarose bead with aldehyde functional groups covalently bound to the matrix.  The carbonyl moiety is useful for stable linkage of peptides or proteins. Actigel ALD is an excellent all-purpose resin due to its stability and resistance to alkali.

Actigel ALD Superflow
Actigel ALD Superflow is a cross-linked agarose  matrix with aldehyde functional groups. The carbonyl moeity is useful for stable linkage of peptides or proteins.  Actigel ALD Superflow is designed for high flow rates and is an excellent all-purpose resin due to its stability and resistance to alkali.

Aminogel
Aminogel is a 4% agarose medium with amino groups attached to the resin by long spacer arms. Aminogel is designed for coupling of peptides and small ligands via carboxyl groups on the ligand. For coupling of large proteins, Actigel ALD is recommended.
